To Kill A Mockingbird

I got free tickets to a local play the other day (To Kill a Mockingbird) because I made the pattern for "Scouts" Ham Costume. If I manage to get pictures of it I'll post them here but they didn't build a frame into the costume so it looked a little like a floppy bladder. It was a good production though, I enjoyed it, though sometimes the southern accents were a little hard to understand. Next month they're doing "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and I want to see that too!

The night before I stayed up and made myself a dress, it took me about 4 hours including cutting out the pieces. There was a little problem with the top front that I have since fixed, and I also cut out sleeves for it that I decided not to put on because I think there's only so much stripe I could handle.

I realize my boots don't match, but it was cold and wet, and I figured nobody would be looking at them much.

Dress: Self made
Necklace: Handmade by my Mom
Hair Clip: LA Fashion District
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack

The back was kinda cute!

Eyeshadow was Aromaleigh with Pink Fingers on the inner corner and brow bone. Champagne Toast on the lid and Magna Parsec in the crease. I'm also wearing their blush in Corset and Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Luminous Lava.
