Crack Burger and Jello Shots

Once upon a time there was a group of friends. Among these friends was myself, a long time advocate of good food I am sad to say that I was once, not aware of the existence of pdx food carts. How foolish I was, how un-evolved not to realise the joys of cheap delicious food served from tiny vessals. I'm glad that time is over, here are Burt, Gloria, and Shannon about to enjoy what has become known in our little group as "The Crack Burger" from the Garden State food cart.

Simply known at the cart itself as the burger, it is one of the most addicting things you will ever put in your mouth. During my time waiting for Sugar Cube to reopen Randall and I visited and he bought the burger while I bought the calamari. I had a bite of the burger and wasn't satisfied until I got my own on a trip I made with Gloria.

I let Gloria have a bite and she dreamed of it that night and we had to go back the next day so she could get her own.

After that we kept talking about it Shannon demanded his own, and so, taking Burt with us we introduced them to the burger, the end result is the picture you see above.

I, on the other hand HAD to try something new and bought myself the fried chickpea sandwich, with lemon aoil, lettuce, and roasted butternut squash. It was good, but I have been spoilt by the "crack burger".

For dessert there was Sugar Cube, this is a Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with strawberries, and meadowfoam honey, it was awesome.

I had the Ultimate Brownie Sundae, caramel, a warm brownie, vanilla ice cream, cherry syrup, with a black cherry on top. So good!

After a short break we headed over to Jim and Jo's for their jello shot party.

Me with my rainbow! I'm not really a jello shot kind of girl, I only had 4 total.

This isn't my picture cause I didn't stick around till the end, but this is what was left at the end of the night. Remember, I only had FOUR!
